English Physics 101

For those who thought the hardest part of Physics 101 was the constant conversion from MKS or CGS units to English units, here are some useful English system conversions: (For the record, I personally have NO idea what MKS or CGS units are.)

Now that I know what a c-ration is, what is a c-section? Is that like a fraction of a c-ration?

Hale McKay said...

I know that mxi is a hard act to follow, but SJ you sure were in there pitching !

LOL @ (15=M on a DMC)- Mayonnaise on a Dagwood Meatball with Cheese

(64=S on a CB) - Smokies on a radio - You cracked me up with that clever one, partner.

(54=C in a D (WJ))- Cowboys in a disco (Wrangler Jeans) - It must be all that practice with the Twisted Linguistics !

There was no humor in the post - but these comments more than make up for that fact.

This is great! I only knew about half the quiz stuff. When I posted the conversions, a couple of math blogs got into a heated discussion about how a million microphones would NOT be a megaphone. It was WAY over my head!
