Upsie Bottoms

We're delighted to serve up another contribution from Scary Monster. This, per Himself, is a Monster Martini, mixed up with one part proverb, one part Irish bull, a bit of Yogi Berra, and a dash of pithiness, served up in an old jam jar. Enjoy!

Mixed Metaphors

It's not rocket surgery
Killing two birds in the same bush
It's spilt milk under the bridge
Beating a dead horse into the ground
No skin off my teeth
Get all your ducks buttoned down
Keep your ear to the grindstone
A light at the end of the rainbow
By the skin of my pants
Better fucked than never
Don't count your chickens before they cross the road
Hold down the ship
If you can't roll with the punches, get out of the kitchen
Keep a stiff upper chin
Like stink on rice
It's an uphill swim
It's a long road to hoe
Kick me, I'm Irish
Over the deep edge
I'm juggling a bunch of different hats
You don't know your ass from Adam
The squeaky wheel gets the worm
Every rose has its silver lining
I slept like a baby log.
Happy as a clam in shit
All's fair in death and taxes
Caught with your pants on fire
Grab the bull by the horns and go for the gusto
Put that in your hat and smoke it
Another day, a dollar short
Home is where the house is
A penny saved is my two cents
You can't keep beating a good horse down
If you fall off a dead horse, don't beat it
Put a stake in the sand
An apple a day is just what the doctor ordered
Six of one does not a bakers dozen make
Curiosity skinned the cat
Roll with the flow
Run with the bulls in a china shop
It's a walk in the bucket
That's the way the cookie bounces
The final nail in the camel's back
It's all fun and dandy
It's a two way sword
A stitch in time saves the whole nine yards
A blessing in sheep's clothing
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of flesh
If you can't beat a dead horse, join him

Now that's what I'd call a cliched collection of mixed of metaphors. Ceverly written.

Good job, Scary.
